Filming with a vintage camera – part 2/3: Developing

On the traces of „The Cold Heart“, we filmed on locations in Berlin last Summer. The special thing: We used a camera similar to the one Karl Ulrich Schnabel had in 1932. Now we can see the first results…

We visit filmmaker Dagie Brundert in her dark room in Berlin where she explains how she developed the Kodachrome Double 8 as 16mm film.

In a few weeks, we’ll tell about how we could scan the film material at the Lichtspiel / cinematheque Berne and compare our recordings to Karl Ulrich Schnabel’s.
